About The Event

Join the Rare Disease Interest Group (RareDIG) and Pediatrics Interest Club (PIC) for a special collaborative Patient Perspective Series Event on Transition from Pediatric to Adult care. We have 3 young and awesome patient speakers who will discuss their unique experiences during this transition process with 3 different diseases.

- Natalie Cinman will discuss her experience from the Shriners to adult care living with Osteogenesis Imperfecta,

- Sheila Dossou will discuss her journey moving from Africa to Canada with Sickle Cell Disease and the transition process she went through.

- Jamie Wajcman will discuss her experience with the Type 1 Diabetes transition clinic at the Children's.

It's going to be a very interesting event with diverse perspectives and lots of time for questions about how this process can be made better for young patients with both rare and common chronic diseases!

As usual, food will be served. Hope to see you there!! :D

**Please sign up here so we know how much food to buy**
