Join RareDIG McGill on November 30th at 7PM EST to explore the journey of Dr. Kimberley E. Steele, associate professor of surgery during a 14-year tenure at Johns Hopkins and director of patient-led research at the LGDA, and Mrs. Melissa Chaikof, contributing author of the book “Communicating with Deaf Children”, president and co-founder of Usher 1F Collaborative, two mothers of children diagnosed with a rare disease. We will explore the great challenges of diagnosing and treating rare disease patients, research, advocacy, and much more, all through the point of view of a physician, two mothers and leaders of rare disease organizations.
